You know you want to plan a wedding that speaks to who the two of you are as a couple - but actually doing that isn’t as simple as it seems.

...with getting to know the two of you, since everything about our process depends on this. We’ll get your professionals hired and then work on the wedding design until it’s absolute perfection.
After that point, we’re filling in all the details and creating a timeline to keep the big day running smoothly. All the while, you’re participating as much - or as little - as you want and have time to.
The time and freedom to truly enjoy your engagement, while knowing your wedding plans are progressing just as you envisioned?
What would it be like to have...
A wedding planning journey that captures what is best about you as a couple, and builds those qualities into your wedding day experience?
A beautiful and personalized wedding that reflects the beauty and uniqueness of your relationship, with time built into the day to create the meaningful moments you will treasure for a lifetime?
Wedding Planning and Design
The Buttercup Celebrations wedding planning experience will guide you through the planning process one step at a time. We start right away with getting to know the two of you, since that’s the beginning of developing your vision for your wedding. The wedding takes its direction from that vision, and then we move on to fleshing out each portion of the day with all of the details.
Your wedding vision is ultimately realized in those details: the song lyric incorporated into your vows, the signature cocktails pulled from your favorite restaurant. These are what make the vision sing. As we complete this process, you’ll see your wedding day come to life before your eyes. We place a priority on creating an enjoyable experience from the moment you encounter us until you leave for your honeymoon!
“Before meeting with Rebecca, we had no interest in planning. We had an idea of how we wanted our wedding to look and feel, but we didn’t know how to make that happen. Rebecca took that stress off of us by listening to our descriptions and asking the right questions. The end result truly overwhelmed us – it was beyond anything we could have imagined!"
You’ll have periodic homework (it’s not “graded”, I promise!) to help us provide you with the most tailored experience possible.
All assignments are shared in our proprietary Client Interface, which is housed in Google Drive. This way, you can complete questionnaires, etc. at 2 pm or 2 am - whatever works best for you.
This Client Interface also contains many resources for you, including a gratuity guide, our budget tracker, and a calendar with important planning dates for you to refer to.
Planning begins by conducting a venue search and securing the venue for your ceremony and reception. We’ll then repeat the process with each professional needed to complete your creative team.
>
Then, it’s time for the fun stuff! We’ll present a complete design proposal based on your vision, and then tweak it at your request until it meets with your approval.
>
>
On your wedding day, we’ll set up your personal items, ensure all of your vendors have what they need, and have an emergency kit at the ready should any small mishaps occur.
>
Closer to your wedding, we will work with you and the rest of your creative team to construct the timeline that will guide us on the wedding day.
Finally, we’ll worry about keeping the day running smoothly according to your timeline.

However, the retainer and any intervening payments are not refundable, as they are compensation for services already rendered as well as lost business due to a date on our calendar being booked without services actually being provided on that date.
They’re essentially unlimited. We will arrive when hair and makeup starts and stay until cleanup is over after the reception. We’re always the last to leave.
Not at all! Many couples don’t have this information when they book. After all, if you don’t have a venue booked, you really don’t have a defined wedding date. We can sign the contract with the date TBD, and the remaining balance can be broken down into monthly payments after your venue is chosen.
