We’ll get to know the two of you in our signature process, so that we can design for you effectively. From putting your creative team together to creating designs that bring your dreams to life, we are here to make the experiences you’ve envisioned a reality.

We’ll touch base with you periodically to make sure we’re on target, but you will receive personalized results without having to be involved in the minutiae of planning.

Premium Wedding Planning and Design

In the Buttercup Celebrations premium wedding planning experience, we’ll begin by assessing exactly how many events you want to plan, and how involved each will be. We begin right away with getting to know the two of you in our signature process.

The wedding takes its direction from the vision we develop, and then we move on to fleshing out each portion of the wedding day with all of the details. Your vision is ultimately realized in those details: the song lyric incorporated into your vows, the signature cocktails pulled from your favorite restaurant. These are what make the vision sing.

As we complete this process, you’ll see your wedding day come to life before your eyes. Once we’ve got the plan for your wedding itself in place, we’ll add designs for your other events. We place a priority on creating an enjoyable experience from the moment you encounter us until you leave for your honeymoon!

Closer to your wedding, we will work with you and the rest of your creative team to construct the timeline that will guide us on the wedding day.

On your wedding day, we’ll set up your personal items, ensure all of your vendors have what they need, and have an emergency kit at the ready should any small mishaps occur.

Finally, we’ll worry about keeping the day running smoothly according to your timeline.

We’ll then book the remaining wedding pros needed to complete your designs.

Once the wedding designs are approved, we’ll move on to your remaining events. These can be completely different from your wedding vision if you like.

No trying to figure out whether your ideas will look good together, and no trying to source decor items - we handle all of that.

Then, it’s time for the fun stuff! We’ll present a complete design proposal for your wedding day based on your vision, and then tweak it at your request until it meets with your approval.

The two of you will be free to enjoy one beautiful moment after another as the day unfolds.

No research necessary on your part. You’ll end up with all of the services you need, and none that you don’t.

Planning begins by detailing the events you need us to plan for you and your expectations for each one. We will then secure the venue for your ceremony and reception, followed by repeating this process with the major professionals needed to complete your creative team.

No wondering what’s expected, trying to remember when you need to be where, or trying to figure out how much of your budget is still available.

This Client Interface also contains many resources for you, including a gratuity guide, our budget tracker, and a calendar with important planning dates for you to refer to.

No new applications to learn, and no juggling your schedule to work at someone else’s convenience!

All materials are shared in our proprietary Client Interface, which is housed in Google Drive. This way, you can complete questionnaires, etc. at 2 pm or 2 am - whatever works best for you.

No laborious sessions addressing your envelopes or bugging those who haven’t RSVP’d - we can do that too!

If you decide you’d like help with mailing invitations, we’re happy to oblige – we’ll even collect the replies if you like!

The abundance of possibilities for your wedding day can be a little overwhelming. After all, your careers and existing relationships already take up so much of your time, and of course, what time you have left needs to be free for each other. Buttercup Celebrations can help you preserve that little oasis. As you proceed through our signature process, we will help you create a vision that combines both of your dreams and desires for your wedding.

With us doing the heavy lifting, you’ll be free to anticipate and savor your entire wedding weekend, which will reflect the two of you in every way possible.

Pricing begins at 4,900, dependent on scope

A 25% retainer is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is broken up into monthly payments ending at least 30 days prior to your wedding date.

What’s the difference between Premium and regular Wedding Planning and Design?

The level of service provided, the number of events planned, and invitation addressing/mailing/reply collecting. With Wedding Planning and Design, we will help you plan just the wedding, and couples have more extensive homework assignments to complete. With Premium Wedding Planning and Design, we help you plan one or more events in addition to your wedding. We also complete as many of the homework assignments as possible with information we’ve obtained through conversations, emails, etc. to take these items off your plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does your payment plan work?

You will need to put 25% of our fee down when you sign the contract. The remaining 75% is divided into monthly payments ending at least 30 days prior to your wedding day.

How do we pay?

You may pay with a credit or debit card or an ACH transfer from your bank.

How often will we meet?

There will be a couple of meetings soon after booking, and then one a month up until the wedding. Most of these can be over Zoom if needed.

What happens if we decide we need more time with you than one meeting per month allows?

Our services are designed to meet the needs of most couples in the meeting times as outlined above. An additional meeting can be scheduled if we agree that more time is needed for some reason, but beyond that further meetings will be billed at a rate of $150 per hour rounded to the nearest quarter hour, with a one-hour minimum. Our services also include unlimited email conversations.

We’re both very busy at work. Are you able to meet with us outside of daytime hours?

Yes! We offer evening hours 3 evenings a week as well as weekend hours by appointment, as long as we don’t have a wedding that weekend.

What if we change our minds about working with you midway through the planning process? 

We can complete a cancellation agreement and go our separate ways. However, the retainer and any intervening payments are not refundable, as they are compensation for services already rendered as well as lost business due to a date on our calendar being booked without services actually being provided on that date.

What if we don’t know our exact wedding date yet? Do we need to wait to book you?

Not at all! Many couples don’t have this information when they book. After all, if you don’t have a venue booked, you really don’t have a defined wedding date. We can sign the contract with the date TBD, and the remaining balance can be broken down into monthly payments after your venue is chosen.

Are you insured to work at our venue?

Yes! Buttercup Celebrations carries $1 million in general liability insurance, which covers us to work in any venue.
